The Challenge
Here we are in the first week of September, so I thought I'd take a look back at spring/summer purchases and share which have been the top favorites for wearability and make me feel like a "10" (on a 1-10 scale).
The Details
1) Top Splurge
Shoes - Paul Green. I was determined to get a lot of use out of them because of the price point. Little did I realize just how well they'd go with everything, from jeans to lace! You've seen them here:
Linen Jacket Transition Summer to Fall
Fierce Summer Neutrals
NAS Purchases and Compliment
These were purchased for my husband's company party, so I had the "go ahead" on budget.
White Masquerade Party
For number of times worn, I'm calling it a tie between my Madewell blush cardigan and Eileen Fisher cowl neck cardigan(s), both purple and red, purchased on eBay.

3) Top Top (spring)
Anthropologie eyelet popover. This proved to be so versatile. The color and details had me at the beginning. I didn't realize how much I would wear it--with white jeans, with various skirts--Bam! Instant elevated look! Seen:

4) Top Jeans
The clear overall winner are my white Kut from the Kloth jeans. These were worn several times a week for the Fierce Fashion about-town look. Seen:

What a great idea for a post Kim! I really love your style my friend! This is making me think I need to look back at my purchases and learn from them. Maybe I should start keeping track of what I buy and when I wear it. We need a shopping date!

Thanks, so much! I get frustrated with myself if an item doesn't get worn enough. Those EF cardigans were quite a surprise!
DeleteLovely post Kim! Your pink cardi is gorgeous xx Maria
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words, Maria. You're always so elegant looking I'm happy if you can enjoy a bit of southern US looks.
