The Challenge
Have you ever seen citrus brights while shopping and wondered how to wear them, or if you could
pull them off?  I'm here to tell you, you can!  I took a no-brainer route pairing the brights with my jeans when I grabbed this outfit to get coffee and do some errands.  My plan was to wear this citron top to see if it matched a cardigan I'd seen at Marshall's, but what to wear with it?  Another bright citrus to the rescue with this mango colored cardigan.   The trick here is that the colors have the same intensity or value.  

 The Details
The citron colored top is from my Nordstrom Rack Try On trip.  The Ralph Lauren cardigan I've had for a few years.  Trusty Old Navy boyfriends are the base.  The sandals are also from Nordstrom Rack last year.  I was beyond delighted when I pulled this necklace (consignment store) to wear.  It for all-the-world looks like it belongs with a fall outfit as the other colors in it are green and burgundy, but look how well it coordinates.  

 Notes on what I would change with this outfit:  Try pulling one shirt tail out in the front next time, as I don't think I prefer the boxy cut in front.  Neither do I prefer the heavy brown belt, so that would be switched out, too.

 The Takeaway
If you have other saturated colors in your wardrobe, a citrus bright should be right at home.  Pull out your "fall" jewelry, you may be pleasantly surprised how it melds with a spring look!  Oh, and, I never did buy the other cardigan.
