Soft Surroundings Try On

Hey, friends!  I'm back!  The moving van came yesterday, so fortunately I had time to scoot out Monday and do a try-on for you!  There aren't a lot of Soft Surroundings stores around, but they seem to be popping up a little more frequently--you may want to check in the "upscale" part of your town to see if they're planning on opening a store.

The first outfit consists of the Presto Hoodie and The Ultimate Leggings.  I sized up to a large on the leggings because of my middle and I was mostly happy with the fit.  They were a cropped length on me, though.  I really liked the look of them, but since they don't have pockets and the waist is elasticized, I would have to wear a shirt out (vs. tucked) and that isn't going to happen.  The Paradiso Denim pants and Serpentine pants might be better alternatives.

The Presto Hoodie was marked down in the store, but it isn't online, yet.  When I took it from the rack, I had a "come to Momma" moment.  Alas, it had a funny smell, hung crooked and wasn't as roomy as I'd like a shirt like this to be...

I grabbed the  L'Enchante Top in a size medium because it looked generous, I should have gotten the large, as you can see this kind of pulls under the arms and across the bust.  It has pretty details, though, and also comes in blue and rose.

The colors of the Piccadilly scarf looked amazing on the hanger.  It's a bit bulky, but may be just the item you or I need when it gets colder.  It's wool and silk.

Out of everything I tried, the Danielle top is my favorite.  The color is a rust/brown and I'm not sure which one it is online.

Here's a better look at The Ultimate Leggings so you can see how they fit.

No clothing was purchased on this trip--but, I did get a little somethin' at another store I'll share with you soon!
