Staying Comfy

Hey, friends!  Today's post lets you in on my version of stay-at-home wear.   There isn't a reason for me to dress up, so I usually wear some variation of these items.  Here is a peek at necessities (for me) that keep me comfortable and give me a homey, secure feeling with the clothing being easy to maintain.

Denim Shirt
First on my list is a denim shirt.  I like them because they can be worn by themselves and are a nice weight.  Just like blue jeans, you don't have to worry about them being precious.  We've had plenty of weather in the 50℉s, which makes them a perfect weight.  As a matter of fact, as I write this post, I'm wearing the identical one shown above as a shirt jacket.  It's on clearance, now, too.  It runs true-to size--I purposely upsized mine.
T-Shirts
I have a few solid color t-shirts that I wear, but will also pull out graphic t-shirts.  My alma mater one is in heavy rotation (although, my actual University of Michigan t-shirt is maize colored).

Pants
No, I don't lounge in leggings.  Or sweatpants.  Most recently, I started wearing a pair of camo pants seen once on the blog at my Festive Camo and Red post.  They were selected because my blue jeans are too heavy for this transitional weather.  Unfortunately, mine don't have an elastic waist.

Undergarments
These are what I actually own and wear.  The Vanity Fair undies don't have any "superpowers," like being no-show, but I like the sides are a little s*xy and they're frequently on sale at Kohl's.

Socks
Haha, socks were never on my radar before our move.  I've mentioned previously that I love the selection at Urban outfitters--I don't have the tie dye ones, but are they very cute!  Maybe I'll tie dye my own!

Pajamas
I own variations of the shorts and pants ones which I use mainly for lounging in the evening.  For sleeping, I wear Eileen West nightgowns.  One of my actual nightgowns is a previous version of the one shown.  They are rather spendy, but I keep mine for years.  I currently have two that I rotate between, so if I get five years of wear out of each of them, they cost me about 8 cents per wear, and I probably get more than five years.  I haven't tried Cool Nights by Soma (the bottom left nightgown), but I've heard good things about them and would like to try them in the future.
Throws
What would staying at home be without a cozy throw?!  In this weather, cotton is a favorite.  While my current throw is from Target, I'd love to purchase one of these.  I keep an oversized throw on my bed, too, and use it as an extra blanket.

Miscellaneous
I don't know about you, while I haven't been wearing makeup everyday, my Clinique moisturizer gets used a lot.  I also like to have Rosebud Salve on hand and use it nightly.  I use it on my lips, but it's good for other things.  Of course, readers are a must!

Beverages
Coffee and chocolate martinis are my drinks of choice.  Steve has been making me chocolate martinis once, or sometimes twice, a week since the holidays.  Lately, we've been recording Better Call Saul on Monday's and I'll have a martini while we watch it on Tuesday evening.  (Isn't the above gift set darling?!)

Before social distancing became a thing.

Bonus
How darling is this t-shirt?!  It would fit in either the t-shirt or beverage sections, but... with next week being my birthday, it gets its own category!  Haha!

This list really sums up things over here.  Are your comfy items similar to mine?  I really hope something is developed or discovered that gets this quarantine over soon.  I'm already getting antsy to get regular life up and running.
