Style Imitating Art~Inspiration: Carolina Morning by Edward Hopper

Fair Use

Hello, sweet friends!   I'm considering cutting back on the amount of posting I do.  While my desire has been to continue posting to keep me busy and assist in keeping all of us positive, the virus shutdown has me grappling with content.  I will do the best I can to create quality posts.

Welcome to the social distancing themed artwork for our current challenge.  Just kidding--sort of!

The current art selection is Caroline Morning by Edward Hopper.

The Curator
We have a guest curator this week.  You may remember Mike as a participant from our previous challenges.  Mike, from the blog PostCard Purpsoses, who does his own painting, suggested this piece as it's from his favorite artist.  He believes the image "looks isolating, but seems serene at the same time."

The things to you may want to work with in this painting are the colors, mood or even the simple dress and hat.

What do you think you'll wear?  I'm so looking forward to your interpretations!
