Friday Favorites #59 on Wednesday

Hehehe!  Just when you thought you had your days all figured out while staying at home, you get a blog post like this!  "Why?" you ask?  It is because I'm joining my friend Jodie from Jodie's Touch of Style, as we show off our wide leg pants on wait-for-it, Friday!  So, in a slight-of-hand blog post, I'm switching Wednesday for Friday, today.  Come along and join me!

1) Mother's Day.  These two sweet faces came over and brought me flowers and a pair of custom-made earrings.  For brunch, since it was a picture perfect day, Steve and Jacklyn walked into Grapevine and got us food from Main Street Bakery.  We ordered quiche, avocado toast, almond croissants, eggs, bacon, potatoes... There were mimosas aplenty.  Later, we watched Spiderman:  Far From Home.


2) Dr. Martens Ryker sandals.  These were on my evaluation list recently of things I would like to look for.  It seems as if this style will work just fine!  I'm feeling a little guilty, because I also just ordered the Naturalizer sandals that you saw in Monday's All Occasion Pink Dress post.  I really didn't think both of them would work out!
3) Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat All-Over Brightening Pen.  The jury is still out on this brightening pen.  When I purchased it I was looking for highlighter.  I guess there's no such thing as highlighter, as the sales rep. kept showing me concealer.  (I bought it awhile ago, but just opened it up.)  The product is good, however, it clicks up into the brush like you'd click a pen.  Sometimes it's more than I need.  We'll see if it's worth it, or the excess dries up and runs out too fast.


4) Ordered a Denim Skirt.  A denim skirt was not on my evaluation list.  As a matter of fact, I thought I was kind of done with them for the time being.  But, you know how you're minding your own business and Bam! an add will pop up in the side margin of Facebook?  Usually, when I click on them, the item is sold out, or a ridiculously high price.  Not this time.  I'm going out on a limb sharing this with you before I receive it and see if it fits.  Anyway, if it does fit, it's just fun and funky enough to earn a place in my wardrobe.

5) They're b...a...c...k!  Which style of wide leg pants won out from last week's Friday Favorite's opinion poll?  You'll have to come back this Friday to see if the gathered or straight ones made it into my closet!
