The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.  He Made known his ways to Moses, his acts to the people of Israel.  Psalms 103:6-7

Hey, friends!  Welcome to yet another Friday!  We're really on our way to and through summer as next weekend is July 4th a.k.a Independence Day!

1) First up this week, OOTW.  I haven't done one of these in awhile, but when I put this outfit on, I knew I wanted to give it a quick share.  Obviously, it's "camouflage" since I'm standing against a beige wall!  My new shorts and old graphic tee match exactly.  It's a fun monochromatic look.

2) Mismatched Earrings.  Jodie has worn a pair from this artisan and I thought they were cute and right up my alley.  They were ordered from Intagram @pamnerinecklaces.  I think the asymmetry is fun and they are very light weight.

3) New Crystal Cocktail Shaker.  Okay, this was a gift to Steve for Father's Day, but I am very much a beneficiary.  It's from our daughters, who also gave us a few other bar supplies.  This is so much prettier than the cheapest-one-I-could-find one that we had previously.

4) Customized Top.   In addition to being customized, this project was also a rescue mission.  I'm Frugal (with a capital F!).  When I discovered this pretty linen Old Navy top from a couple of seasons ago languishing in the closet, I knew I wanted to get it out and wear it, again.  I think the Johnny Was top I wore last week, kind of took this shirt's place (long-sleeved, orange).  Since I've discovered I could use more short sleeved tops, I decided to cut the longer sleeves off and add a little somethin' with the ruffle.  I'm looking forward to wearing it, now!  Thanks to Friday Favorites, odd projects like this get done so I have something to feature!!!

Red Plenty

5) Books.  Where the Crawdads Sing has been out for a few years, but I just got around to reading it.  If you haven't read it yet, stop what you're doing and go find a copy.  Seriously, well written and a good story.

Red Plenty was finished some time ago, I kept forgetting to add it to my FF.  It's a commentary in story form on Russia's economy during the Khrushchev years (1953-1964).  It's an interesting read and really gives one insights to the way the economy was run and the way people thought in that time and place.  The frustrating thing about it is each section starts telling a story, but never finishes it.

That's it for this week!  I've got some fun things up my sleeve that I'm looking forward to sharing with you, soon!  (And, with the way I've been sewing lately, that may just be literal!  Ah, ha ha ha!)  Don't forget to come back Monday for Style Imitating Art!  Have a fab weekend!
