Is it possible to make a pair of preppy shorts, like this madras pair, strike up a friendship with Boho styling? Wha'da ya think? Let's check it out!
The Details
I've liked madras for a long time. I was even contemplating getting a pair of shorts or a skirt this year when I ran across one or the other somewhere online this spring. Then Saturday I went to not one, but two, thrift stores and found the above L.L. Bean shorts. I didn't try them on at the time, but held them up and decided they were worth a $5 roll of the dice.
See, I told ya! June 2011 from when I had a home style blog. ~This was my attempt at "long," straight hair!
[To my DYT friends, the shorts have navy in them. I decided to overlook that this time, which I rarely do! They were dyed in 2T. tan + 1 teas. lemon yellow dye to take off the bright edge.]
The Takeaway
