7 Ways to Wear a Graphic Tee & Skirt Combo

Hey, friends!  It's nice to be doing a semi-normal blog post today.  As you would imagine, surgery recovery has its ups and downs.  I thought doing a roundup of graphic tee/skirt outfits that have appeared on the blog would be a fun and easy topic to cover.  Plus, I'm excited to be sharing an entire outfit who's pieces have not been on the blog before--a win!

The Challenge
In theory, there shouldn't be too much of a challenge to put together these combos.  If you're like me, however, it's fun to have a bit of coordination between skirts and tees.

The Details Let's start our walk down memory lane.

This refashioned cabi ikat skirt has so many fun colors that you can throw about any t-shirt at it and have a working combo.

My rocker chick looks-haha!  It gave me internal giggles to wear the bottom right outfit into Publix during the holiday season.

I guess these next couple of examples could be described as my Boho looks, since the skirts are longer and more flowing.

The last look I had the foresight to take a photo before my surgery.  Ideally, the skirt/t-shirt combo is at least as comfortable as shorts and a t-shirt, if not more so.  If I remember correctly, I was hunting around for something to wear with this tee, but wanted to look a little nicer since I was going out (to Joann's, where I received several compliments, yay!).

You saw a sneak-peek of New Look 6640 at Friday Favorites #64.  It's hard to tell, but the skirt is A-line with points that come together at the front seam.  It has pull up ruching off-center in the front.  Everything I've been making lately has elastic waists--this skirt has a zipper--I haven't put one in clothing in years!

The t-shirt was plucked from the depths of one of my drawers--I hadn't worn it in ages because the neck was too tight.  It's just fine, now, though (weight loss).

The Takeaway
Have fun!  If you'd like to encourage yourself to pull out skirts and tees more--wait till your favorite shorts are in the wash--then see what you can come up with!
