Friday Favorites #71~Free People Fall Picks

So Jesus again said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.  All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.  I am the door.  If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and find pasture.  John 10:7-9

Hey friends!  I thought I'd check in with a quick post.  My surgery went well on Tuesday.  The first week after leaving the hospital is supposed to be the hardest (since you're not all drugged up on pain meds, just partially!).  I'm using a walker, which a) makes me feel really old, and b) grateful that I have it!  Sooo, you'll get a Style Imitating Art post on Monday, I'm not sure what else.   Since I had fun doing a Friday Favorites roundup on my Sundance catalog favorites, I thought I'd do a continuation with Free People.  I don't know about you, but it seems a challenge to pull their collections together by season, since their clothing seems so season-spanning.  Let's take a peek, anyway!

1. We the Free Anguilla Pullover (above).  I've come to the conclusion that gauze tops work well for me.  Plus, I've seen chartreuse with gray hair and like how it looks.

The dress comes in several colors and I think it's more of a summer weight.  It sure does look like a fun, workable dress to toss on and accessorize in a month or so, though.  Don't you think?

Sometimes, it's next to impossible to tell how a garment will look/fit with the way Free People does their photography.  I thought that about this cardigan, but bought it anyway, because of the color.  You can see by the drapey sleeves it's almost cut like a kimono.

4. Tie Dye Utility Pants
Okay, you may think this is a strange choice for me to pick, since the pants are tie dye, but, I have a little secret up my sleeve (or pant leg, haha!) that you'll be seeing when I get to take photos for the blog, again.  For the record, it seems like Free People has lots of cute jeans options right now (well, anytime, really).  Their pants don't generally fit me, so I didn't include those.  These come in S-M-L.

5. Accessories.  The pendant is such a statement piece and the roped "chain" is adjustable. || I don't know if there's anything more or less special about Free People Bralettes, but I do like them.  This one comes in several colors. || I loved, so much, how the braided belt looked with the We the Free Anguilla Pullover, that I just had to include it!

Oh, and a word to the wise, sometimes Free People sells out of particular colors or styles really fast, so if you want something, I wouldn't wait!

Thanks for joining me, today!  I really, really appreciate all of your prayers, thoughts, and kind words about my surgery (if you're new here, I just had a knee replacement).  God bless you and your family this weekend!
