Friday Favorites #80~New Stuff

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.  Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on the earth.  For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.  When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.  Colossians 3:1-4

Happy Friday, friends!  Welcome for a look at some new tops and my new chandelier(!).  I got pretty much all of the wallpaper in the guest bath stripped, just scraps around the edges need to be cleaned up.  Several more boxes got unpacked this week--no more found clothing, though.  Let's get started.

First up, this is the skull fabric top.  I got a wild hare to make it up before Halloween.  The fabric was found on Etsy.  I like that the sugar skulls are combined with Frida Khalo.  Much of her artwork is on the macabre side, but I like her iconic look.  It was worn (above) with the silly pom poms and bows with skulls, minus the big white tag, headband (I was looking for flowers, but Party City was sold out.).  Our neighbors invited us over for a glass of wine on Halloween.  Since there ended up being so few Trick-or-Treaters, we left our basket of chips on the porch and headed over.

Next up, this "new" Free People flannel shirt which you saw on my last post.

What I wore this week:

Another new Free People Set Sail denim top that I found for half-off at Belk this past weekend.  This outfit and the last one, below, were for trips to Lowe's or Home Depot.

These two outfits were for sit-in visits to Starbucks.  Another tie dye jeans look, along with my Free People jacket and handmade red babydoll top.

A variation on a theme, my Free People dress and jacket.

Rounding out the week in another older Free People top and cabi jeans.  Wow, my hair is long!

Haha, not Free People, but our new foyer chandelier!  It's matte gold and really, really bright!  It made me feel happy inside, because it's a small start in the direction I want to take the decor.

Thanks so much for joining me!  Have a great weekend!  I'll see you on Monday.
