Styling a Free People Flannel Shirt

And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands.  This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.  He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame by triumphing over them in him.  Colossians 2:13-15

Hey, friends!  I'm back with another Free People top.  This one is from my own, personal "Christmas in October."  While unpacking, there was a couple of bins from the master closet which contained winter clothing that I packed up some time ago (they were in storage for a year) and forgot about.  This top still had the tags on it.   I'm sure I bought it with an eye toward moving as the flannel would likely never get warn in FL.

Since there is so much volume to this top, I opted to give it a half tuck to have some control over the fabric.  It's hard to tell, but it also has fun full sleeves.  I can also easily wear a long sleeved tee or tank under it, if I want extra warmth.

These old Old Navy boyfriend jeans never disappoint.  The rise is in the perfect spot and if I gain a little weight, they still fit well.  Since the top is primarily burgundy, I wore my Docs again.

If you have a tummy and don't like a full front tuck, a partial tuck like this might be just the thing.

This is a short and sweet post, today.  I plan to have a post up on Friday, too.  I'm panicking a little bit, since there's so much I'd like to do before my surgery next week, but there's only so much time.  I've been working on stripping wallpaper in our guest bath, which I'm very tired of--I don't know how to work my way behind the toilet.  Yesterday, we had a new foyer chandelier replace the dated one, that was pretty exciting.  I'll put up a picture of the new one.

Ya'll have a great day and I'll see you on Friday!
