Eyelet Top & Tiered Skirt Clashing Colors Pt 4

Challenge
Welcome to the final week of How to Wear Clashing Colors!
I'm referring to clashing as red/orange/pink/purple that seem difficult to combine in outfits with confidence.  Today for the last post, I will be using orange and purple.  Once again, using the same depth of color in both pieces.  I didn't realize I had so much orange!  If you've missed the previous posts, here's where you'll find them.

Part 1 How to Wear Clashing Colors (Red and Orange)
Part 2 How to Wear Clashing Colors (Pink and Orange)
Part 3 A Tropical Top and Bamboo Handbag (Orange and Pink)

Details
This eyelet top is one of my favorites found at Anthropologie this spring.  It's so easy to toss on and it has a dressier vibe to it.  The sleeves are unlined and the front hem is scalloped (the back is plain knit).  The skirt is past season from CAbi.  It's ponte with a tiered front.  The mix of berry/purple and rust/orange/turmeric is one of my favorites and I combine them often.

Takeaway
Keep exploring the combinations of orange/red/purple/pink and see what you can come up with.  Remember you will have an easier time succeeding if you keep the color depth (lightness/darkness) the same.  Once you get used to it, you may just become addicted to all of the things you can put together.
