Cabi Try On Fall 2018 Part II

The Challenge
If you would like to see some of cabi's history, please see my last cabi Try On post.
The challenge is the same as last time:  I had to go with what the stylist had in my size, so there were limitations.  I wear a large top and size 12 bottom, I'm 5' 9" (175 cm).

The Details
The first outfit consists of a sleeveless lower-neckline pussy bow top.  The top is rather long, almost a tunic length.  Since it's sleeveless, it's a great layering piece.  The skirt is a rich burgundy ponte fabric with invisible zipper slits on each side, so you can open or lower them (they are not overly high, maybe 6" (15 cm)).  The cardigan has a bit of a flare waist and is a mid-range burgundy.  Boots, mine; genuine vintage 'gator handbag, stylist's personal collection.

The second outfit keeps the same top, adding back the jeans from the last try-on post and an asymmetric ponte jacket in a houndstooth print.  I thought this was a cute combo, I liked the long over long, but it didn't photograph that well, maybe the collar needed a little more adjustment.

The last outfit uses the same skirt as the first outfit, cardigan and a popular top that is sleeveless, lightweight, denim friendly, and has a nice piped collar detail that is partially covered by the sweater.  I would like to call your attention to the key necklace I am wearing.  It comes in a set of two that you can wear together or separately.  One is silver, the other gold.  The sample is stamped with "Better" on one and "Together" on the other.  You can have them customized to read how you would like and is from The Giving Keys company.  I think this would be the perfect gift to share with a loved someone who wears the opposite color metal than you do.

The Takeaway
Cabi offers two seasons a year spring/summer and fall/winter, they also come out with limited edition pieces.  Of the items I'm wearing, the red sleeveless top (ordered) and the skirt (seriously considering) are my favorites.  While some women buy a lot of the line, I generally pick and choose what will work with my palette and budget.  What about you?  Have you heard of cabi or own any of the clothing?  What's your favorite thing about it?
