These pants have been on the blog before, most recently at Top Five Summer Favorites post.
While, I have seen quite a few floral prints out for fall, we typically think of those for spring/summer. I still really love these pants and it's a joy to pull them out of my closet, yes, really! With all of the colors in them, it's just a matter of pulling out darker colorways or heavier fabrics. No need for them to start hibernating!

The Details
My brown linen top seemed like a good pairing. Although it's linen, it does have some weight to it. That was followed with my berry colored cardigan. It's still warm enough for my open-toed Freebird shoes, which are a favorite. There are so many great colors in these pants, I may wear them all winter.
The Takeaway
Don't hesitate buying prints because you think you'll be too limited with outfit options. Instead, make a mental note of what you have, shooting for two, three, or more other things that you already own that will coordinate with them.

Love this look Kim! That brown top is special with the little twist in front and looks great with the berry colored cardi. I scored a great pair of floral pants from Old Navy and will be wearing them on the blog next week - they were from summer but will be perfect for fall! Great minds my friend think alike for sure!

Thanks, Kellyann. You were lucky to find them, I had a hard time locating a similar pair this time of year. They make so much sense for FL as they don't look overly wintery. I'm looking forward to your look! Hugs, Kim
DeleteThis is such a fabulous color combo Kim!!
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to stop my usual habits about what to wear for fall....I tend to gravitate towards the darker colors, and this year I want to change that!

In FL, we don't tend to dark colors much or for very long. Where you're at, I imagine you would stand out in lighter/brighter winter clothing.
DeleteOh this is unexpected! What a great colour combination. And I adore your necklace!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nancy!
