You know how you can go for periods of time without doing shopping because you've got a good, happy wardrobe rotation going?
That was true, but since we are trying to wishful-think our fall into existence here, I am hoping to freshen up my wardrobe a bit by buying a few things. If you saw my Insta post, I noted that I headed to Nordstrom yesterday. Did I buy anything there or at the mall itself? Nada for me. I purchased one Christmas gift for Daughter #3 since she was with me and it was a sure thing. I was looking for booties (remember my Looking Back at October post?), if I found the right color, I didn't care for the style and vice versa (enough with the western influence, already). I did see some cute work boots, but intend to wear my booties with skirts, and wasn't feeling that juxtaposition. So, hurray(!) for on line ordering.
I currently have outstanding purchases from: SimplyBe, Garnet Hill, Nordstrom, Soma and Free People. I received my QVC order referred to above (returned because I didn't like the fit). Who is doing the best job for updates and shipping info? If you guessed Nordstrom, you're right. QVC and Free People are contenders as well. I ordered from Free People Monday and it shipped Tuesday. I'll follow up with how the merchandise works out.
The Details
Do you happen to remember my cabi try-ons Part 1 and Part 2? Although, I didn't wear it for those photos, this cardigan is from that collection. It is the Aerial cardigan. Cabi frequently adds details to their clothing, and in this instance, you can see that the back is slightly longer than the front. The t-shirt is from Zara and has brush stroke flowers on it in teal, pink, yellow, peach. The outfit is finished with Old Navy button fly crops and Fly London sandals. I decided to double up on necklaces. They were both gifted, the heart one is from the Met from my daughter #2.
The Takeaway
Nordstrom won't let you down when online shopping. Don't forget to double up on your necklaces and double or triple up on your bracelets. P.S. If you want tips on cutting off your feet while you're taking photos, I'm your woman!

I love the tone on tone look - so chic and olive is a great color on you. The sandals are pretty too - love that color and it plays well with that bracelet. You look great my friend!

You're so sweet, my friend! I was up till 11p last night finishing this post-which is way too late for me-ha ha! (Not that I'm complaining!!!) . When I got home, I had received the Simply Be denim skirt, it was at least two sizes too big--yikes!
DeleteI love olive green at this time of year...and how fun to pair it with turquoise this way!!
ReplyDeleteAnd hey, it's better to cut off your feet than your head. My hubby still cuts off my mom's head at times since she's usually the taller one...LOL!! (Either that or there's some psychological reason...)
XOXO
