Casual Christmas With Snakeskin

The Challenge
Well, now.  You can, in my fierce world, make anything look Christmasy with the addition of red!
Since it is clearly snakeskin and red pumps week here, I happily tossed on additional red, and with a nod to The Blended Blog ladies, added my most sparkliest bracelet.  (Otherwise, my wardrobe is oddly devoid of sparkles and shimmer.)

The Details
All of the items are preowned.  The M. Kors top and Chico's cardigan, eBay.  Shoes, consignment.  NY&Co. jeans, thrifted.  I don't know if you noticed, or not, but I changed up my Met heart necklace.  It was formerly on an adjustable string.  This weekend, I used what I had on hand which consisted of faux leather cording and dark burgundy glass beads, to rework it.  The bracelet, the star of the show, is from French KandeA note about my "Lil Bit Gypsy" bracelet:  It has been seen many times on the blog, but I've never mentioned it.  I found it (handmade out of a spoon and belt) at a gift shop in Ashville, NC.

The Takeaway
Use what says "holiday" to you whether it be red, green, another color, sparkles, glitter, shine, snakeskin, leather, etc., because how you feel will make all the difference.  No matter how much I want to embrace other colors during the holiday season, I always return to red!  Bonus note:  Remember, you can cuff your jeans to showcase your footwear or create a different look.
