It's always fun to figure out how many Christmas outfits you can get out of your regular wardrobe.
By "Christmas outfits," I mean adding large swaths of red. This one worked out fun and oh, so easy. My Christmas edition graphic t-shirt ensemble utilized camo, this one does, too. This was worn for a trip to Spices at Penzeys in Sarasota to buy premium cinnamon, cocoa, vanilla, etc., because I take my baked goods that seriously. Well, it's really because over this last year I've changed my diet tremendously, so if baking is going to be done, I want to use finer ingredients. Update: Daughters #2 and #4 made Snickerdoodle cookies yesterday and they claimed to be able to tell the cinnamon was a higher quality.
The Details
Since we had some cooler weather, I was able to pull out my full-length pants, thrifted. Add to that a simple red shirt (Chico's found on eBay), topped with a Reba tencel/denim jacket, and I felt both Christmasy and edgy. A win/win in my book. The denim jacket could be switched out with my olive green cardigan, to give the outfit a less casual look. Red blouse last seen at: Cardigan/Color Clash.
The Takeaway
Camo isn't just for fall! Pull it out and pair with your reds to get an unexpected Christmas look. For evening, I would add some fun rhinestone earrings or a bracelet!
