Style Imitating Art (Roundup): The End of Romance by Erte

Welcome to the Style Imitating Art Roundup.  Please take a couple of minutes to visit the other
participants and leave a quick comment.  I know they'd love to hear from you!

About Style Imitating Art
In addition to colors, you may also want to look at textures, mood, style, genre or contrasts.  There are no "wrong" outfits, and you don't need to be literal, i.e., wearing a pink dress as in today's artwork.

Inspiration Artwork
Style:  Art Deco | Genre:  Painting | Fair Use

The Curator
This was curated by me, because I was looking for something that would integrate with Valentine's Day.  This painting has something for everyone--snow whites; pinks and reds; denim; green and textures, both rough and soft...

The Roundup

The snow captured Jodie's attention and she's here with actual snowflakes to prove it!  Plus, she's coordinated with the burgundy pants and pink/lavender specs.

Like the woman in the painting, Charlotte is observing a different kind of cold sculpture, a frozen one!

Leslie~Once Upon a Time & Happily Ever After

Leslie selected a crystal embellished cardigan to emulate the ice and snow, along with green corduroy pants and accessories that picked up the other colors and textures of the painting.

Daenel had this perfect outfit with pink Swiss dots and faded denim which work back perfectly to this week's artwork.

Salazar~14 Shades of Grey

Salazar combined her polka dotted popover shirt with a pink sweatshirt and burgundy sneakers.  Such a pretty, feminine look.
