Style Imitating Art (Round Up): PERSONNAGES AUX CHEVAUX ~ MARCELLE CAHN

Welcome to the Style Imitating Art Roundup.  Please take a couple of minutes to visit the other
participants and leave a quick comment.  I know they'd love to hear from you!

About Style Imitating Art
In addition to colors, you may also want to look at textures, mood, style, genre or contrasts.  There are no "wrong" outfits, and you don't need to be literal.

The Curator
This was curated by me.  I selected this painting because I like the vivid coloring, the equestrian theme, and the exaggerated eyes.

The Roundup
Jodie from Jodie's Touch of Style forward this picture of Charlotte, because the browns in the artwork reminded her of this outfit.  It's from a prior post Skirt Showcase (with a printed skirt).  I think the boots give off an equestrian feel, too.

Leslie started with her equestrian themed scarf, with gold stirrups that was given to her by a friend.  She then added her cowgirl boots "and the rest fell into place."

Salazar chose this look and added a pendant necklace to reflect some of the colors and to mimic the "exaggerated eyes" in the painting.  The richness of Salazar's pants echos the richness of the artwork colors, as well.
