Spending Freeze
I decided not to purchase anything this month and challenge myself to do my own No Repeat April. So far this week: Top photo (in my just-right-squeezy jeans!) and below.
Initiate
Remember my word of the year "initiate" that I talked about in my Easy Leopard Print Mixing post? Sunday I asked a friend if she wanted to go so the move Unplanned. She and I saw it Sunday afternoon. A win on all counts.
Shrimp Recipe
I made Lisa's (Coast to Coast) shrimp and faux grits (cauliflower) recipe. I couldn't find chili lime seasoning, so ad libbed with chili powder, cumin and lime zest and juice. It was very tasty. It was a bit on the salty side for me, but I'm a huge wimp when it comes to salt.
House Update
We received an offer on the house. Alas, it wasn't a very good offer and after we countered we heard crickets. So, maybe it's not a "favorite," but it's a step in the process.
My birthday is tomorrow and I don't really have a list, but this French Kande Necklace is tempting:
