Style Imitating Art (Roundup): Le Quai Saint Michel Et Notre Dame

Welcome to the Style Imitating Art Roundup.  Please take a couple of minutes to visit the other
participants and leave a quick comment.  I know they'd love to hear from you!

About Style Imitating Art
In addition to colors, you may also want to look at textures, mood, style, genre or contrasts.  There are no "wrong" outfits, and you don't need to be literal.

The Artwork
The Curator
This was curated by me because of the recent tragedy at  Notre Dame which is such a piece of history, repository of art and Christian and religious symbols.

The Roundup

Jodie from Jodie's Touch of Style forwarded this picture of Charlotte, because of the lightness on top, and how the painting is more muted in the lower half.  From the post Wearing Sleeveless Tops.

Daenel selected this look because whenever she sees images of Notre Dame, she always thinks of fall.  This top makes her think of Notre Dame in the fall.  I love Daenel's print mixing and the addition of the peach cardigan which adds a spring element, as well.

Salazar selected her outfit because blue and yellow jumped out at her the most and she thought the stripes echoed the brush strokes.  I think the petals on her flowers are brush-stroke-like, too!

We were also joined by Shugunna from Nzuri N* Simplicity on Instagram.
