Hello!  Welcome to this edition of Friday Favorites.  How is your summer going?  Today is a combination of the last two weeks of my summer, since last week was all about red/white & blue outfits.

I'm joining:

1.  Outfit of the Week.  Beginning this week, I am starting each FF with a favorite outfit or some fashion look I've tried.  This week is inspired by my linen jacket.  I love this jacket from last year, but don't wear it often enough.  Looking through Pinterest, I found a long jacket over a maxi skirt, so I thought I'd give it a try and see if I liked it.  The base outfit was seen previously at What to Wear with a Printed Maxi.  What do you think of this long over long silhouette?

2.  Made Kimono.  This is from my How to Update Pencil Skirts post, so you've seen it recently.  I'm happy I made this fun piece and plan on looking for more fabric to make another one.

3.  New Shoes.  I keep swinging and missing with sandals, the last trial was a Söfft pair seen at Friday Favorites #15 which were ultimately returned, because the heels were just too high for my bad knee.  These are BOC brand, which I got on sale for $41 at Macy's, I think these will work!

4.  Made Gift Bag.  A friend of mine let me use a piece of lace/fringed fabric that she had on hand and I was able to make this gift bag lined with muslin.  I had the ribbon and wide hem tape in my sewing stash.  Isn't the card I found to go with it just perfect?  The bag was big enough to hold a Clinique Chubby stick and a few of my favorite Gheridelli dark chocolate, sea salt, caramel squares.  Aren't they everyone's favorite? ðŸ˜‹

5.  Tried Red, White & Blue punch drink for the Grands.  This is not a photo of the drinks we made. (I forgot to take one!)  This is from Shelly at The Queen in Between where I got the idea.  Mine did not turn out as vivid as hers did.  I think it's because I used a very light blue Gatorade drink.  The Grands got them after we got back from seeing...

Toy Story 4.  Go see it!  It's every bit as heartwarming as the other Toy Story movies!  My daughter and I both got teary-eyed!
