Happy Friday, friends!  Welcome to another roundup from the Lone Star State!  I'm having ups and downs with adjusting to the move.  There are days when "Bring it on!" is my motto.  There are other days when I want to stay in bed with the covers over my head!

1) The Outfit of the Week are pieces I don't think I've worn together before.  Since my closet is stirred up, I grabbed items that seemed good for my activities for the day.  The Free People top is gauze, so even though it's long sleeved, it's cool.  It's hard to tell, but is front tucked into the pants.  The jeans and shoes you've seen lots of times.

2) When we left FL, I gave away our headboard that was purchased when we got married.  I never really tired of it, but pieces of it were coming apart, so it was time to let it go.  In its original form, it was a brass finish.  Along the line I painted it oil rubbed bronze.  Anyway, I purchased this inexpensive tufted fabric one from Amazon.  The color is called "sand," which I thought would be a little warmer--it's really much like the photo--Haha, go figure!  I'll take a photo of it in the bedroom when I get things done a little more.

3) Also in the apartment, I decided to go with a Boho look.  Primarily by adding bright colors and eclectic accessories since we already have the main furniture.   Here's an example:

The left photo of throws is from Tuesday Morning, the right photo of colored baskets is from Home Goods.  (I bought the throw on the right and have not yet purchased one of the baskets, although I did purchase a different colorful one.)

4) I had one interview on Monday and another one scheduled for this coming Monday.  There's at least two other places to which I'd like to apply.

5) The girls moved out Saturday.  It was a bit crazy with all of us living in the apartment for the short period of time.  It was also (a lot) crazy to watch them get ready to move.  Mom (me) packed up their kitchen stuff a day or two ahead of time.  I didn't want to venture into their room or bathroom.  The day of the move, the older one left in the morning to go console a friend who lives 30 min. away (the movers were due at 1 p.m, but then changed to 11:30 a.m.).  The younger daughter had the TV on and was on her phone till about 11:10 a.m. and then started packing NO JOKE!  The older daughter got home shortly after that.  Is this all 20-somethings or just my girls???  Anyway, since two young men were the movers, they were very accommodating.  It all went just fine to my amazement.  Their apartment is really nice and has a huge kitchen countertop/bar area.  It's about 20-25 min. away from us.

That's it for this week!  I'm still organizing.  This weekend we will be taking a couple of full boxes to donate at the thrift store, as well as, taking a few boxes to the storage area.  The second bedroom is still a mess and getting those boxes out will help a lot!
