Hey friends! If you were here last Friday, you saw that I am working (seasonally, at least) at Pier 1 Imports. Since it's so apropos, I thought I give you a roundup of gift items for people on your list. Just about every time I work the cash registers, customers will be purchasing things I hadn't even seen in the store, so yeah, there's a lot of treasures to find!
The following are some of my favorites, along with a little input from other sources.
Women
The above Textured Stripes Ivory Chenille throw is one of my daughter's favorites. She's all about soft and cozy.
Serving Trays. This Elana Mirrored Tray came into the store recently and is beautiful. There's a wider variety of serving trays than I've seen in one place, that I can think of, anywhere. They come in many different price points for all kinds of budgets and tastes.
Dishware. Have you been using the same dishware for decades? My set is fairly new, but I'm still so tempted by all of the varieties. The Allison dinnerware, above, is one of my favorite designs and I don't think the photo does them justice. You may even want to just swap out dinner or luncheon plates to freshen up your current set.
Men
Wine Chiller and Bar Cart
If you entertain frequently and love chilled wines, this wine chiller could be for you! While you can only see a smidgen of it, above--if all of your liquors are in the pantry--you may want to display them on a bar cart. It will free up cupboard space and look rather chic. (I think our apartment will be getting one, soon!)
Lastly, this Chas navy blue velvet chair. There was a male customer who really had his eye on this in the store and had to give it a good tryout.

Children
Or, maybe even pets, as I had a customer buy two of these for her dogs! There are several more varieties of these plush animals. I'm pretty sure I'm getting one of each of the above for the three grands. The ones shown range from 12-19 inches.
All Around Gifts
Three Wick Candles and Reed Diffusers. These are currently two for $20 in holiday and everyday scents. They are great all-purpose gifts if you need something that's reasonably priced.
