Merry Christmas 2019!

Merry Christmas, my friends!  Our stockings are hung, our Orlando daughter is in town which makes three girls here!  I'm doing a little more cooking/baking.  In the baking works:  Pecan tarts and mini Christmas fruit cakes (free printable US recipe here) same as last year, this year adding lemon bars.

I hope you all are enjoying friends, family and fellowship, experiencing glorious sights, sounds and smells of the season, and wishing you safe travels and a blessed season!

We are leaving for Tampa on the 26th, so I'm thinking my next post will be January 3rd.  I'm looking forward to the New Year!

In the spirit of the season, I'd like to leave you with a stanza from the song "In Christ Alone."

In Christ alone, Who took on flesh, fullness of God in helpless babe!
This gift of love and righteousness, scorned by the ones He came to save.
Till on that cross as Jesus died, the wrath of God was satisfied;
For ev'ry sin on Him was laid --- here in the death of Christ I live.
