Welcome to Friday Favorites!  My knee surgery is done and I'm on the mend!  It already feels better than it did.  Unfortunately, a section a the inside of my knee area doesn't feel like it was affected at all.  I'm not sure it's appropriate to make an assessment, yet, and honestly, improvement is improvement--so I don't want to look like I'm complaining.

1) Outfit of the Week.   I debated on whether this would be an OOTW since I like it so much, I was thinking about doing an entire post on it.  I still may!  A very similar version of this outfit (the top half) appeared on the blog way back in an airport shot, but I'll be darned if I can locate it.  I wore this to meet up with a friend for lunch.  These are my wide legged crops that first appeared last spring What to Wear with Cropped Wide Leg Jeans.  My Johnny Was scarf has appeared several times on the blog, making it a worthwhile investment!

 Starting things off with a few purchases:


2) Target Blanket.  When I lounge around on the sofa, I have a homemade quilt and cotton throw.  Neither is quite big enough to cover me by itself.  I finally decided to buy a twin-sized fleece blanket.  It comes in several colors, I purchased the pretty coral one.


3) Cell Phone Tripod Adapter.  I should have order this ages ago!  I've been using one of the small, bendy tripods and trying to hook it over my big tripod.  It never worked that well.  I generally take my photos with the delay timer as my DSLR camera does not have the capability to work with a wireless remote.  This little $6.99 gadget really saves me, as right now with my bad knee, it's too challenging to get into the frame within a few seconds.  


4) No7 Restore & Renew Serum.  Someone recommend this on a FB group I'm in, so I thought I'd try it.  I use it in the evening after removing my makeup instead of a regular moisturizer.  There are a few varieties of this.  I've only been using it for a few days, so I can't say if it lives up to its claims.  


5) Free People Free Shipping.  Although I don't generally make note of sales or free shipping, I decided to include this as I was pretty excited about it.  About a week and a half ago, I was going to order a top from Anthropologie.  Tax and Shipping added another $24 or so to an already pricey top.  I just couldn't do it.  Hurry, though, the offer runs through Sunday, February 9th at 9 a.m. EST.

 Thank you for joining me!  I'm crossing my fingers that our daughter that was visiting Amsterdam will be able to attend our brunch "thing" this weekend.  I'm praying my knee recovery goes well.  I hope you have a great weekend!
