Style Imitating Art~Edgar Degas

Inspiration Artwork
Welcome to this week's inspiration!  Style Imitating Art is hosted every two weeks by Salazar~14 Shades of Grey, Daenel~Living Outside the Stacks and me.

The This week's selection is The-Little-Fourteen-Year-Old Dancer by Edgar Degas.  It is made from partially tinted bronze, cotton tartalan, silk satin, and wood.  It was selected because of the texture and neutral color scheme.  The ballet theme can also be a source of inspiration.  To find out more and see other views of the sculpture, check out the Met Museum website!  Have fun with your interpretations!

The Curator
This week's curator is Salazar from 14 Shades of Grey.

What do you think you'll wear?  I'm so looking forward to your interpretations!
