Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality. Col. 3:23-25
It's FriYay already! Do you have big plans for, or with, the Dads in your life? I think I'm going to make some sort of treat for Steve, as he's been getting store-bought ones lately. Hmm, maybe a batch of blondies. One of the girls and her boyfriend will be over on Sunday. I haven't purchased any gifts, though.

1) First up this week, my daughter is modeling Golden Goose dupes from Amazon that my friend Kellyann has worn a few times on her blog. They were so cute, I decided to get a pair for myself. After I received them, I didn't think I would wear them (I may not be a sneaker person after all), so my daughter is enjoying them, instead.
2) Work in progress. This ruched skirt should be completed soon. The hem and waistband still need to be finished. I'm planning on wearing it with my Led Zeppelin t-shirt. It also goes with my tie dye shirt and an olive top.
3) Easy new earrings and bra strap "solution." This is the top half of the below outfit! On my trip to Hobby Lobby last week, I found these pre-made, beaded earrings. The earring wire just needed to be added to them.
The t-shirt is from American Eagle last year and for as much as I like it, my bra straps always show, which I don't like so much. I solved the problem by replacing a traditional bra with a meant-to-be-seen bralette--take that! It only took me a year to think of it! (Bra pad concealers were used to prevent show through.)
4) Customized Shorts. I found white denim shorts! These were purchased at Stein Mart and are petite sizing, if you can believe that--nothing about me is petite! They are mid-rise on me, so maybe they'd be at the waist if you really were petite.
You know customizing clothing is my thing. In the "before" photo they are optic white and quite long. Several inches were trimmed off, then they were frayed and received a mild dye bath of 1 T. Rit liquid tan dye and 1/2 teas. Rit liquid lemon yellow dye. The width was also taken in to give them a more skinny jean look. Ahhh, so much better!
Thanks so much for joining me this week! Have a safe and blessed weekend and tons of fun with the fathers in your life!
