At that time the Feast of Dedication took place at Jerusalem.  It was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple, in the colonnade of Solomon.  So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, "How long will you keep us in suspense?  If you are the Christ, tell us plainly."  John 10:22-24

Hey, friends!  I was in a mood when I was going through my photos, so today you have some editing features that you'll probably never see again!  Part of it might be because I was having a heat/humidity meltdown which most likely affected my brain.  Now, I'm no stranger to humidity, but this unassuming cropped top fabric must have been developed by NASA researchers to withstand temps on the dark side of the moon.  Making me roughly 183℉ warmer than I would have otherwise been.  Soooo, these outfits will be waiting for cooler weather!

When I saw pretty little Jennifer recently with her Linen Crop Top and Leopard Skirt outfit, styling bells went off in my head.  Cropped top:  ✔️  Flowing skirt:  ✔️

Nothing says "authentic" like pretending to stroll on your balcony with a Starbucks in your hand!

It was a clue that I was feeling better that when I saw Jennifer's outfit, I went looking in my closet for potential pairings while I was still using my walker.  While I have a leopard skirt (below), I liked the rich colors of my floral skirt better with the top.  What do you think?  An inspired pairing?

Still feeling inspired, I tried my Sundance lace skirt.  Wanting to add some lighter color to correspond with the sleeves, my snakeskin mules were selected.  Ya know, when I was wearing this, I kept hearing the refrain from Cher's Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves playing over and over in my head--I guess it's the lace and pointy toed shoes!

Lastly, I snagged this rust skirt from last fall out of the closet.  This is actually my fave look of the four.  Notice there is no rust color in the top, orange, yes, but not rust.  Pairing rust and burgundy is one of my favorite color combos, so this is a big win for me.

In my opinion, this is what's always so fun about inspiration, you'll get a different look that's true to your own personal style.
