The cow and bear shall graze; their young shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.  Isaiah 11:7

Hey, friends, look at me!  I'm not on the balcony!!!  We closed on our new house Monday.  Yesterday, Steve met with our network provider, a lawn person and a contractor.  I swung in to let the contractor know more of what we want done.  I also took some measurements and brought my paint swatches with me.

I figured I'd wear my blog post outfit and try to find a place to take some quick photos.  These were taken on our back patio.

Recently, Andy at Pearls and Pantsuits did a post on Romantic Rust Top and Black Denim.  In it, she styled her new Target top and black jeans into two fall outfits.  Since I only wore this one outfit, it's inspired by Andy's second outfit where she used leopard print and pointed shoes.

When I checked to see when this Sundance Sera top from last year was previously featured on the blog, I was surprised that it hadn't been.  At the time I purchased two of these identical tops in different colors.  The other one has been on the blog before.

I'm all about leopard with rust, but since I wanted to copy Andy's pointy shoes, selected my snakeskin mules (they're an animal print, afterall) and added my berry red handbag.  I was actually kind of surprised how well the red and rust went together.  To carry the lightness of the snakeskin print throughout the outfit, I tied my Johnny Was scarf to my handbag (again) and added a lighter stone necklace.  Oops, also without any
black jeans, I like how these thrifted jeans with the rolled hem show off the shoes.

I probably say this every time, but it's always so fun to be inspired by other bloggers when you can make the same/similar basic pieces into your own personal look.

Did you notice that my right leg is bowed and my left leg isn't anymore?  That's another thing my knee replacement surgery did for me that I'm so glad about.
