Style Imitating Art: Inspiration~Boudoir Slippers

Inspiration Artwork
Welcome to this edition of Style Imitating Art.  Today's selection is a pair of boudoir slippers from E. D. Burt & Co. Fine Shoes from about 1865-1885

The Curator
This week's curator is Daenel from Living Outside the Stacks.  She selected it "because the color is just intense and fabulous. I know it's just a single color, but there's the opportunity for mixing, matching, clashing, texture imitation, etc."

What do you think you'll wear?  I'm so looking forward to your interpretations!
