Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer! Psalms 4:1
Hey friends! For this post, I'm highlighting my Free People tops. I know many women have switched to leggings during this virus season of not getting out much. That is so not me. But, I've realized I have a collection of Free People tops that are in heavy rotation while being at home.
The ChallengeWhile looking for something easy and comfortable to wear around the house that also looks decent with added accessories to to go out, these Free People tops have been delivering in spades.
The Details
While this post is entitled "Wardrobe," the tops are the focus because they are switched in and out with various jeans.
This shirt was originally purchased for my (short-lived) Pier 1 job. While not in this photo, I added small fabric pieces to the side, so it wasn't as cropped. It got worn last week with jeans, booties and my flag/military jacket.
This red gauze blouse is what I grab when I want to look good with the greatest of ease. It's a good length to tuck and I like how it contrasts with my silver hair. I'll often pair it with my fuchsia cardigan.
How can a chambray shirt not be a workhorse? While I've often been wearing it like this because I like the full top over skinnies, I can't wait to take it for a spin with white jeans.
This shirt reminded how much I love flannel for cold weather! The fullness of this top makes it not the best for working around the house, so I have to wear it when I'm going to be upright most of the day (haha!). Although, I have tied the back up.
Bringing up the rear--these two don't get worn as much, because white and a lighter weight fabric. The white one has been getting worn the least.
Not a top, but a topper. This jacket has been in heavy rotation. It can't be worn on the coldest days, but if I can get by with it, I do! I wear this with everything from skirts to bike shorts for physical therapy and feel awesome every time.

The Conclusion
Free People tops have been delivering comfort and a little polish. I'm generally more of a Sundance clothing lover, but Free People has "shown up" for easy wash-and-wear comfort this season.
